Eloping in Zion: Top Reasons
Great Weather Especially in a Low Season
Summer is a busy season for all National Parks that's why I recommend my couples eloping in Zion National Park in the shoulder season such as spring fall and even winter. cHances are high the weather will be warm but not hot, precipitation low and less crowds.
Iconic Utah Red Rock Scenery
Zion's scenery offer everything one can dream off when thinking red rock formations: majestic sandstone cliffs, the Virgin River, deep canyon walls, and Canyon Overlook to name a few. If you want to skip the crowds you can elope at Snow Canyon instead and come to the park for photos.
Easy Access and Permits
Zion National Park offers many accessible wedding locations. You can more about them in my previous blog, but as long as you apply in advance permit process is straightforward and easy.

8 h Coverage
12pm Getting ready shots at at your airbnb
1pm drive to Zion NP
1:50pm catch a shuttle to ceremony location. Candid portraits on the way.
2:30-3.30pm Ceremony
3:30-4:15pm Family portraits
4:15pm take a shuttle to next portrait location
4:30pm-5.30pm short hike and fun portraits
5:45pm-6.30pm family picnic. Candid shots
6:45pm hike to final sunset location
7pm-8pm sunset portraits and wrap up.
